Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours, 4 days with on-call 7 days a month, not consecutive Experience: At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience required. Recent traveler experience preferred. License: Oklahoma State License or compact Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIH Must-Have: Proficiency in monitoring patients in the Cath Lab using Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices. Description: We are a complete Cath Lab utilizing Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and General Surgeons. We provide complete cardiac and peripheral services. Procedures include Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, and atherectomy. We also perform carotid diagnostic and stenting, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemaker insertion, tilt table tests, kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stenting, and thrombectomy. The Cath Lab RN will work an 8-hour day shift and rotate call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in monitoring LEXISCAN Stress Test is required. We have two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms, along with McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System. The applicant will rotate between other duties, including assisting with pre and post area, transporting, and assisting with duties as assigned.
