Position Details
This is a day shift position based on a 5x8 hour schedule, with working hours from 06:45 AM to 03:15 PM. The role requires participation in a call rotation, which includes at least 1-2 weekday calls per week and one weekend regular shift that includes call every 8 weeks.
Required Qualifications
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Experience Preferences Charge nurse experience is preferred
Experience in community hospitals is favorable
Travel experience and familiarity with various patient populations is a plus
Unit Details
Staffing and scheduling will depend on patient ratios and the specific needs within the department. Candidates must be adaptable to working in varied capacities as required by the unit.
Compliance and Verification Must provide a complete 7-year work history verification
References from two previous employers obtained within the last year
Completion of onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing is required
Work Schedule and Time Off Policy Maximum requested time off (RTO) is 7 days per contract
Specific holidays are designated for RTO, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
Only one holiday per contract can be requested
Orientation & Modules
All candidates will complete mandatory modules during orientation, which typically require 1-5 hours. Time spent beyond 16 hours will be billable. Module hours will be tracked through e-learning platforms.
