Cath Lab RN

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: RN Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Experience: Minimum of one year of hands-on clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab with cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care environment License: Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required Certifications: Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificate upon hire and must maintain current Must-Have: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred One year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area required Description: Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations, ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes throughout all cardiovascular procedures. Provide holistic support, addressing the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients in a surgical and procedural environment. Collaborate closely with physicians, offering continuous updates and timely communication regarding patient status before, during, and after procedures. Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, calibrated, and ready for use. Manage supplies and inventory, gathering case-specific materials and ensuring the team has everything required for efficient workflow. Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring accurate interpretation and rapid response to changes. Continuously assess and document patient condition while they are in the Cardiovascular Lab, maintaining thorough and precise records. Support quality initiatives, participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient care and operational excellence.
