Job Opportunity
Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Cardiovascular team in our Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have experience in both interventional radiology and cardiac procedures.
Shift Details:
Type: Day shift
Schedule: 4x10 hours (06:30 AM - 05:00 PM)
On-Call Requirement: 7 days per month, including 1 weekend call per month (Friday - Sunday PM) and 1 day during the week
Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology unit.
Experience in a healthcare facility with a minimum of 250 beds is preferred.
Sedation skills required.
EPIC charting experience preferred: Must have if applying as an IR RN; highly preferred for Cath Lab RNs.
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or CCI RCIS, NIHSS.
Must have valid state nursing license.
No pending licenses accepted.
Skills and Responsibilities: Ability to monitor and administer sedation safely.
Experience with various procedures, including:
Endovascular Interventions
Cardiac Stent Placement
PICC Line placement and maintenance
Cardioversion
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Post-procedural care and patient education
Strong team collaboration skills and ability to work under pressure.
Working Environment: Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital, MAGNET recognized facility.
Total Staffed Beds: 426.
Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics.
Daily Census: 2 IR / 4 Cath Lab.
Free parking available for staff.

Additional Information:
The position requires commitment to work three out of five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
