Job Description
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) who possesses expertise in electrophysiology (EP) and interventional radiology (IR). The ideal candidate will have responsibilities associated with both cardiac and radiology cases, primarily performing scrub and monitoring roles.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cath Lab environment.
Assist with both interventional radiology and cardiology cases.
Perform scrub and monitoring activities during procedures.
Participate in the maintenance of a sterile environment.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Experience in electrophysiology (EP) and interventional radiology (IR).
ARRT certification required.
Ability to perform essential nursing duties in both cardiology and IR settings.
AHA certifications required; RQI certification not accepted.
No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.
Work Schedule
This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 0700 to 1730, along with rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call requirements.
Skills Checklist Proficiency in cardiac catheterization processes.
Ability to manage and monitor patients during procedures.
Experience with imaging and radiological equipment.
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
