Responsibilities
Under the direction of the director, the RN Charge Nurse utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care by making nursing assessments and diagnoses, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis, and implements and evaluates the plan of care.
Qualifications
Education
Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing
Licensure / Certification / Registration
Florida Registered Nurse License
BLS
ACLS
Special Skills / Additional Training / Experience
Leadership Skills
Completion of hospital training programs including New Manager/Supervisor orientation and Leadership Development courses
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
