Overview
RN - Clinic Community Memorial Hospital Department: Physician’s ClinicSchedule: Full Time | 40 Hours per Week | Flexible 5x8 or 4x10-Hour Days | Hours Between 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Based on Department NeedsSign-on Bonus: $5,000
Join the Physician’s Clinic at Community Memorial Hospital as an RN and be part of a collaborative team focused on providing compassionate, efficient care to patients throughout their healthcare journey. In this role, you’ll work closely with providers and clinic staff to support high-quality patient care while building meaningful relationships with patients and families.
This position offers the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of clinical areas, including Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, Wound Care, General Surgery, and other specialty services. Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient clinic setting.
Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
Partner with providers and clinic staff to support timely, coordinated patient care.
Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members in a clear and compassionate manner.
Assist with telephone triage, patient questions, and follow-up regarding health concerns and progress.
Document patient care, interventions, and clinical information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
Provide coverage and support across Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, Wound Care, General Surgery, and other specialty services.
Contribute to efficient daily clinic operations and a positive, team-oriented patient experience.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN)
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Must have a current license or certificate in the state of Iowa
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Understand the concepts, principles and practices of a clinic setting
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
