Job Summary and Responsibilities

nAs our RN Clinical Coordinator in our ICU, you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit, serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model.

nEvery day you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, ensure high-quality care delivery, act as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team, authorize work procedures, assign duties, manage as shift charge, and actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity, all while promoting patient well-being and adhering to professional standards.

nTo be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with exceptional clinical skills, strong leadership potential, superior communication and collaboration abilities, and an unwavering commitment to ethical practice, quality patient care, and a supportive team environment.

nnnAssesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.

nnEvaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.

n

nnDevelop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

n

nnProvides leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.

n

nnAssists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.

n

nnEnsures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care.Liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.

n

n nWe are offering a $20,000 sign on in addition to up to $8,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

nnnAssociates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement

nnActive and unencumbered RN License in state of employment

nnBLS from the American Heart Association

nnOne year RN ICU experience

nnTNCC or TCAR within one year of hire
