About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Clinical Decision Unit 2 (CDU 2) at Jefferson is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients with an expected stay of less than 24 hours. This role is ideal for a collaborative team player who values high-quality patient care.

What You'll Do
Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
Provide feedback regarding clinical practice and role performance.
Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
Utilize the nursing process to implement patient care plans.
Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
Promote compassionate communication that is patient and family-centered.
Requirements
Education: Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
Experience: Preferred certification in area of specialty
Licenses & Certifications: CPR certification required
Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
