RN, Clinical EducatorUtilizes adult educational principles and leadership skills. Strives to meet the comprehensive needs of the clinical staff and patients/significant others in a safe and caring professional manner. Provides for the well-being of patients through patient advocacy, education and effective/collegial communication with physicians, other departments, clinical and non-clinical staff. Collaborates with Manager/Director for maintaining and improving clinical skills through professional development and services as a role model for other clinicians. Performs responsibilities within the guidelines of the Hospital Policies, state regulatory and accrediting requirements.
requirement :
Day Shift, approximately 10 hrs per week. This is a 40 hour per pay period. We generally have someone work 3 days one week and 2 the next. RN with educational experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF). Most with SNF experience were likely in a "Director of Staff Development" role and that would be preferred. Knowledge of SNF regulations preferred, flexibility, self-starter.Education and Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): PreferredMaster's Degree in Nursing: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: PreferredAdvanced Cardiovascular?Life Support (ACLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred
