About This Role
The RN - Critical Care Float Pool at St. Vincent Hospital is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to providing high-quality care.

What You'll Do
Assess human responses and plan nursing care for individuals or families.
Provide transformational leadership in a professional practice setting.
Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care.
Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
Utilize the nursing process to implement patient care plans.
Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
Participate in professional development and continuous learning.
Advocate for patients and resolve patient/family concerns.
Requirements
Education: Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required.
Experience: Preferred certification in area of specialty.
Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in Pennsylvania.
CPR certification required.
Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required.
