Job description
Role Overview: The position involves serving as a Float Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within a support team, providing high-quality patient care across multiple healthcare facilities. The role emphasizes flexibility, collaboration, and making a positive impact through diverse clinical experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate patient care under RN supervision, including assessments, procedures, and interventions.
Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless patient support and adjust care plans as needed.
Educate patients and families on self-care and safety practices, reporting safety concerns proactively.
Maintain accurate documentation, participate in team communication, and contribute to ongoing training and projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent; current LPN license in the state of Georgia.
At least 3+ years of recent medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Strong clinical assessment skills, organizational abilities, clear communication, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
