Job description
Position: Registered Nurse - Diagnostic Imaging
Location: Elmhurst Hospital
Type: Per Diem/PRN
Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care aligned with physician treatment plans to ensure quality patient care
Assess patient conditions, recognize deviations, administer medications, and monitor progress
Assist in developing and implementing patient treatment plans
Support physicians during procedures and examinations
Deliver excellent customer service by explaining procedures, reducing patient anxiety, and building trust
Record observations, reactions, and follow-up actions accurately
Collaborate with healthcare team to meet unit goals
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher; Critical Care experience preferred
Current Illinois RN licensure
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
Strong analytical skills to interpret clinical data
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction and leadership
Ability to stand, walk, lift objects over 20 pounds, and assist with patient mobility
Attention to detail in documentation and specimen analysis
