RN Director of QAPI and Staff Development Nurse
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced RN Director of QAPI and Staff Development Nurse to join our team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Riverview, a state-of-the-art nursing home located in Essex, Maryland. As a Director of QAPI and Staff Development, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality care and staff development within our facility. Responsibilities:
Lead the QA Team : Oversee the Quality Assurance program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Develop and Implement Training Programs : Design and implement comprehensive training programs for staff members, focusing on skills development, knowledge enhancement, and performance improvement.
Conduct Performance Evaluations : Lead regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to staff members.
Foster a Positive Work Environment : Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting open communication, collaboration, and staff engagement.
Monitor and Report Quality Metrics : Track and analyze quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or staff development role in a healthcare setting.
Strong leadership and management skills , with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members.
Must be an Registered nurse (RN)
