Director of Nursing
Job Summary:
A Medicare & Medicaid certified skilled nursing center, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in Perrysburg, Ohio. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and policy implementation
Collaborate with the administration team to develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes and achieve quality metrics
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, social workers, and other ancillary services
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and data analysis to identify areas for improvement
Mentor and develop staff to achieve their professional goals and improve patient care
Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to meet the needs of the facility
Requirements:
Current and active RN license in the state of Ohio
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a long-term or skilled nursing facility
Experience in a similar setting is preferred Benefits:
