Job Description
Job Title: Staff Registered Nurse - Inpatient
Profession: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Emergency Department/Trauma
Duration: Contract for 14 weeks
Shift: 3rd (Weekend Program Nights: Friday - Sunday)
Hours per Shift: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum years of experience required, telemetry competence required
License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
Certifications:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire
Must-Have:
- Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing
Description:
The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
The role requires the ability to work effectively in high-stress situations typical of the emergency department and trauma settings.
Nurses must be adept at patient care management and possess a solid knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
Teamwork and communication skills are essential for collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates must be prepared for interview scheduling and possess the required skills and experience to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
