About the Role
Join our exceptional Emergency Department team providing professional nursing services in a fast‑paced, state‑of‑the‑art facility with 80 treatment spaces, including the first geriatric‑accredited ED in the area.
Key Responsibilities
The Level II Registered Nurse (RN) under the direction of the Nurse Manager is accountable for competent patient care based on established standards and the nursing process.
Provide direct nursing care and coordinate services that support patient outcome goals.
Assume expanded unit roles (e.g., charge nurse, preceptor) as assigned.
Support peers, use effective team communication, and practice patient‑centered care.
Contribute to unit problem‑solving, self‑growth, and the development of learners.
Maintain a safe unit environment and support operations.
Pay Range
$38.76 – $50.33 per hour. Compensation is based on market data, education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months RN experience in a recent acute care setting.
BS in Nursing preferred.
Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers preferred).
