Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; performing various treatment procedures; providing physical, educational and emotional support to patients, friends and families; supervising assigned team membersPlanning & Communication. Develop and document individualized care plans customized for each patient’s unique needs, with support from the interdisciplinary health team as needed; maintain effective communication to convey patient health status, treatment plans and progressElectronic Health Record (EHR) Management. Demonstrate proficient use of an EHR – including accurate patient and provider documentation and communicationCompliance. Adhere to required department and system protocols, regulations (local, state, federal) and education requirementsEDUCATION:AS: Nursing (Required)LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - NYS Office of ProfessionsNew York State Education Department (NYSED)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee’s physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.PAY RANGE:$39.74 - $52.99CITY:RochesterPOSTAL CODE:14626The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
