About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are committed to providing high-quality care and promoting patient safety.

What You’ll Do
Assess human responses and implement nursing care for individuals or families.
Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
Utilize the nursing process to develop and implement patient care plans.
Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
Participate in systematic peer review and seek feedback on practice.
Promote compassionate communication that is patient and family-centered.
Education:
Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required.
Experience:
At least 1 year of RN experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
CPR certification required.
ACLS and PALS preferred.
Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate required.
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate required.
Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate required.
