About This Role
The RN, Endoscopy position at Mass General Brigham is ideal for a skilled and adaptable nurse who will support patients throughout their endoscopy experience, ensuring quality care from assessment to discharge.

Pay: $37 - $71/hour
Location: Braintree, MA
Facility: South Shore Endoscopy Center
Department/Unit: Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization, Inc.
Schedule: Part-Time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
What You'll Do
Assess each assigned patient and plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care.
Provide safe, attentive care in the Post Sedation Care Unit (PSCU).
Monitor vital signs, IV sites, and specialized equipment during recovery.
Complete systematic patient assessments and communicate findings to the gastroenterologist.
Administer medications for moderate sedation under the gastroenterologist's supervision.
Demonstrate knowledge and clinical competency for patients receiving sedation.
Assess discharge readiness using the Aldrete Scoring Criteria.
Record physician orders and document nursing interventions.
Perform nursing and endoscopy procedures per facility policies.
Identify patient and family education needs and provide guidance.
Requirements
Education:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience:
Endoscopy experience required; ambulatory-setting experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current RN License in Massachusetts required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
