Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) with weekends required.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and demonstrate compassionate care to patients of all ages in the emergency department.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department.
Manage care for ventilated patients, including central line care and emergency medications.
Administer IV vasopressors and manage dysrhythmias.
Perform triage duties as needed, adhering to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience preferred.
Travel experience in a similar role is preferred.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.
Must possess a valid state or compact RN license at the time of submission.
