Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ER RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients experiencing medical emergencies. Candidates must have a strong understanding of emergency care protocols and be skilled in emergency procedures.
Responsibilities
Assess and manage patients in the emergency room.
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
Administer medications and blood products as required.
Conduct phlebotomy and start IVs for patients.
Provide continuous IV sedation and manage IV vasopressors.
Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
3 years of experience in an emergency room setting preferred.
Current New Jersey state RN license.
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
