Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) with weekend coverage required.
Job Description
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The role involves performing assessments, implementing care plans, and assisting in emergency procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
Assess and triage patients to determine the urgency of care needed.
Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
Monitor and document patient status and response to treatments.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency care.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, MAB, NIHSS.
Experience in Trauma Level II or III is required.
