Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Transition Unit (CTU). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and the aptitude to work independently while effectively multitasking.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Clinical Transition Unit.
Monitor patient conditions using telemetry equipment and respond to alarms.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and their families about health management and post-discharge care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Experience in MedSurg, Cardiac Telemetry, or Emergency Department preferred.
Ability to work weekends as part of a 2-weekend work requirement per month.
