Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Location
Sylva, NC
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, with every other weekend required.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in our emergency department. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities
Triage patients and perform rapid assessments to prioritize care.
Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy.
Perform emergency interventions as necessary.
Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EHR systems.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current RN license in the state of practice.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine preferred.
Experience with moderate sedation and cardiovascular interventions is a plus.
