ED Registered Nurse - Night Shift
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night Shift: 3x12 Hours (19:30 - 08:00), with every other weekend required.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ED Registered Nurse to join our dynamic emergency department team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing with comprehensive knowledge and experience in handling a range of patient diagnoses.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care to patients experiencing various emergencies, including chest pain, stroke, sepsis, and trauma.
Actively monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain efficient patient flow and triage patients appropriately based on acuity levels.
Utilize the EPIC charting system for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 3 years of emergency nursing experience.
Travel nursing experience required, though first-time travelers with 5+ years of experience may be considered.
Active RN license in MD or Compact State.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
Relevant skills include acute care management, IV administration, and trauma protocols.
