Job description
Sentara Louise Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Short Stay Observation Unit on flexi nights (7pm-7am). The 18-bed unit focuses on observation, post-procedural monitoring, and short-term treatments with a typical two-day stay.
RNs discharge 6–8 patients per shift with a 1:5 to 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and strong support from staff and leadership. The role offers on-site benefits, tuition assistance, PTO, and opportunities for clinical ladder
