# **Job Description****Additional Job Information*** Sign-On Bonus Eligible - $20,000* Labor & Delivery, Post Partum and NICU* Premium Pay - Float Pool* Must have 2 years recent and related RN experience* Full Time, 36 Hours per Week* Also available: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.* Self-Scheduling* 4 Weekend Shifts Per 6-Week Schedule* Benefit Eligible* Free employee parking* Apply today and a recruiter will reach out to you* Shadow a float nurse during the interview process* Refer a fellow nurse and receive up to a $5K referral bonus if they accept a position in a participating department!* Nursing at Boone Health### ## **Overview****Job Summary**Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.**Job Responsibilities*** Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration.* Floats to multiple inpatient units based on organizational needs, adapting to varied clinical environments while maintaining high-quality, patient‐centered care.* Uses critical thinking skills to assess and evaluate patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.* Develops and implements individual plans of care in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care. Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.* Evaluates patient's response and modifies plan of care accordingly throughout the patient's stay.* Participates in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development and lifelong learning.* Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position.
