nUnder the supervision of the FNE/SANE Supervisor and Sexual Assault Clinic Medical Director, with orders when necessary, from the Emergency Department Provider, the Forensic Nurse Examiner follows protocols to provide independent, comprehensive care to adults and adolescents presenting to the Emergency Department with a complaint of acute sexual assault and/or non-fatal strangulation.

nRequired Qualifications:
nnnGraduation from an accredited nursing program.
n
nnUpon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
n
nnUpon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
n
nn1 year of Nursing experience.

nPosted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
