Job description

Preferred RN experience in inpatient or outpatient Pediatrics. There will be training requirements in Urbana before transitioning to Bloomington full time. Delivers and coordinates competent care for patients and families within the designated practice area. Adheres to established standards of care and scope-of-practice requirements while maintaining complete, accurate documentation. Acts as preceptor and supports the development of other staff and healthcare students. Provides health, wellness, and patient education to individuals and groups. Performs telephone triage for patients. Directs and supervises care provided by other healthcare personnel.

Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing , Work Experience: RN

Provides and facilitates competent health care of patients and families in area of practice. Ensures adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice.Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate.Provides health and wellness education to individuals and groups.Acts as preceptor and supports the development of other staff and healthcare students.Provides leadership for initiatives designed to improve the quality of care or clinical outcomes.Assists Nursing Supervisor/coordinator in the development of departmental standing orders.Performs phone triage of patients in multiple specialties Administers medications and treatments Directs and supervises care delivered by other healthcare personnel Provides patient education Conducts research to improve practice and patient outcomes
