Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details: Registered Nurse (RN) - General Surgery 3W This position is on a General Surgery Medical-Surgical inpatient unit. This is not an Operating Room (OR) role.
Seeking Experienced & New Graduate Nurses!
Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128
Schedule: Part time 24 hours/week
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
Associate Degree in Nursing
Nursing Diploma
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
Certifications:
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: BSN preferred
Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
Experience: Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting
Physical Requirements
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
