This role involves providing direct patient care across all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include coordinating care with ancillary departments, monitoring patient status, and functioning within the scope of nursing practice aligned with established guidelines and ethical standards.
The position is located in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), focusing on intermediate care for cardiac, respiratory, and septic patients, combining aspects of emergency and critical care in a fast-paced environment.
Key duties require strong assessment skills, teamwork, and the ability to manage complex cases involving high flow oxygen, bipap, and other acute needs.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a current RN license, and Basic Life Support certification.
