Job Description
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a House Supervisor, providing leadership and operational oversight in both the Emergency Department and Acute Care unit. This role entails ensuring appropriate staffing, coordinating patient flow, and delivering high-quality patient care across both departments.
Responsibilities
Provide oversight for Emergency Department operations, ensuring high-quality care.
Support clinical teams in managing patient flow and care transitions.
Act as a second nurse in the ER, responding to critical emergencies and guiding staff in emergency situations.
Manage staffing levels and operational efficiency for the Acute Care unit.
Coordinate caregiver support and address operational needs swiftly.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
Strong charge nurse and supervisory experience is mandatory.
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
Must hold a valid Compact RN license.
