Job description
Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)
The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing specialized care to patients requiring infusion therapies, including chemotherapy, antibiotics, blood transfusions, iron, and fluids. The RN will work in a collaborative environment and support a team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
Position Details
Unit Type: Infusion
Shift Length: 8 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with variable start and end times, primarily 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities
Administer infusions of chemotherapy, antibiotics, blood products, iron, and fluids.
Provide various injections as required.
Monitor patients during infusion therapy and assess for any adverse reactions.
Document patient care and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant nursing role.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
Additional Certifications: Preference for chemotherapy certification.
Fingernail Policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas.
Important Notes
Successful candidates must pass an open book exam on skills learned during orientation.
A score of 90% or higher is required to pass the exam; failure to achieve this will result in termination of contract.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license for certain requirements.
