nPrimary Responsibilities:
nnnThe Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area and leadership on the unit, under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor, or RN Coordinator
n
nnThe RN applies clinical nursing knowledge and utilizes demonstrated skills to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards
n
nnThe RN utilizes critical thinking to identify priorities and make judgments concerning basic and comprehensive needs of multiple patients in order facilitate appropriate and timely care
n

nRequired Qualifications:
nnnGraduate from an approved professional registered nursing program
n
nnCurrent and valid Texas RN license
n
nnCurrent BLS through American Heart Association
n
nn6+ months of experience in a clinical area. 1 year KSC experience may be considered in lieu of 6 months RN experience with approval from Sr Dir Nursing Services
n
nnComputer experience
n
nnAbility to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population for the assigned clinical area including CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy
n
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnnBachelor's degree in nursing
n
nnSpecialty nursing certification in ambulatory care or one appropriate to the specialty area assigned
n
nnACLS and/or PALS
n
nn2+ years of ambulatory care
n
nnEPIC experience
n
nnWindows bases computer skills
n
n nPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
