Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology
Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October 2026. $20K sign-on bonus Requires 1+ year of IR experience, 2 year commitment
Position Highlights:
Location: Evanston
Hours: Day Shift, M-F (4 days per week, 7 am start)
On-Call responsibility, must be able to report to Evanston within 30 minutes
What you will need:
IL RN license
Graduate of a NLN accredited school of Nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
CPR: BLS & ACLS required (Issued by American Heart Association)
2+ years of critical care experience highly preferred
What you will do:
Provide nursing care for Interventional Radiology patients
Administer IV conscious sedation and medications under physician direction
Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to emergencies, including contrast reactions
Start IVs, manage central lines, and perform dressing changes
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and care teams to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Coordinate and support daily procedure scheduling and patient flow within the IR lab
Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
Document all care and procedures accurately in Epic
Support quality and safety initiatives, including inventory and equipment readiness
Precept and mentor new staff and assist with training of team members
