Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology
We are actively seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN). The ideal candidate will possess experience in Interventional Radiology within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment.

Certifications/Requirements
Current Illinois RN Licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Description
We are actively seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN). The ideal candidate will possess experience in Interventional Radiology within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care.
Perform assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing techniques, policies, and state regulations.
Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation in line with standards of care.
Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians or hospital policies.
Provide education to patients and families at appropriate levels of understanding.
Participate in performance improvement activities within the department or unit.
Utilize clinical expertise to support patient care across various departments and manage complex situations.
Engage in personal development and support continuous learning opportunities.
Participate in peer review and feedback processes to enhance nursing practice.
Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Minimum of 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in critical care.
Cardiovascular intervention experience required.
Holiday Coverage
Holiday coverage is required.
