Position: Cath Lab RN
Location: San Jose, CA
Shift Details:
Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00)
Shifts will be any day Monday to Friday with weekend call requirements: 7 days per month, including 1 weekend per month (Friday - Sunday PM) and 1 additional day per week.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN to join our dynamic team. Candidates must possess strong sedation skills and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac or Interventional Radiology lab within a 250-bed facility. We welcome both Cath Lab RNs and IR RNs. Please indicate your specialty when applying.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a lab setting (IR RN or Cath Lab RN).
Certification in ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or RCIS, and NIHSS.
Epic charting experience; required for IR RNs and highly preferred for Cath Lab RNs.
Experience in procedural sedation management.
Local candidates within 50 miles will be given priority.
Essential Skills: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring
Angioplasty and stenting procedures
Cardiac catheterization
IV insertion and management
Central line and PICC placement
Monitoring procedural sedation
Knowledge of radiological safety procedures
Ability to assist in various interventional procedures

Orientation:
20 hours of orientation will be provided for successful candidates.
Additional Information:
On-call requirements include being available for 7 days a month and commitments to work 3 out of 5 major holidays are expected. Candidates may also be required to float between nearby facilities as needed.
