Registered Nurse In Diagnostic And Interventional Radiology
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied 8-hour days with on-call requirements Hours per Shift: 32 guaranteed hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience within the past 5 years preferred. License: State RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Required Must-Have: Nicotine-free facility Description: Admitting patients for procedures. Discharging patients after procedures. Conducting follow-up visits or calls on inpatients/outpatients. Administering medications for diagnostic cases. Monitoring MRI pacemaker cases. Providing support for anesthesia cases in radiology. Providing moderate sedation for interventional radiology cases. Acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred. Critical care experience preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems. Varied day shift with on-call responsibilities during the week and weekend on-call every 6th week. No floating to other areas required. Scrubs will be provided. Cancellation policy allows for client-initiated cancelation up to 36 hours during the assignment without penalty.
