Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. This role requires a dedicated nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details
Start Date: ASAP
Shifts: 4x10 Days
Weekend Coverage: Varies based on staffing needs, possibly every 3-4 weekends
On-Call Requirements: One night of call during the week every other week from 1700 to 0700, plus one weekend call shift every 4-6 weeks
Unit Responsibilities Perform CT guided biopsies
Conduct fistulograms
Assist with GJ-tube placements
Conduct lower extremity angiograms
Manage nuclear medicine/stress tests
Perform paracentesis and thoracentesis
Assist with Y90 procedures
Qualifications Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year, preferred 3-5 years in a relevant specialty
ICU Experience: Required
Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS required
Pending Licenses: Accepted, but rapid availability is preferred
RTO Restrictions: Minimal; ideally under 7 days
Local Travelers: Not eligible if residing within 50 miles of the facility
Charting System
Charting will be conducted using EPIC.
