Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a focus on providing exceptional patient care within the interventional radiology unit.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.
Participate in patient education and advocacy.
Requirements Must have applicable interventional radiology experience.
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
ARRT (VI) technologist certification or Cardiovascular Technologist certification preferred.
ARRT (R) IR Technologist with scrub experience may also be considered.
Ability to work rotating on-call shifts, including weekends and evenings.
Work Environment
This position is based in a short-term acute care facility dedicated to providing a high level of trauma care and educational opportunities.
Additional Information No fee for parking.
Charting system: Epic.
Scrub color: All RNs may choose any color.
