Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night Shift: 3x12 Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
Job Description
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) provides care for patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and for newborns. This role requires a proactive approach to patient care, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage patients during labor and delivery.
Provide postpartum care and education to new parents.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Perform assessments and communicate with the healthcare team regarding patient status.
Assist with newborn care and assessments.
Support patients and families through the labor and delivery process.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
Active Oklahoma state RN license or compact RN license.
Certifications required: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP. Preferred: ACLS, STABLE.
Charting experience with Epic is required.
