Rare Health is a self pay clinic in Springfield offering hormone optimization, peptide therapy and aesthetics. Our care follows evidence-based protocols, we give each patient unhurried time, and we hold a high standard for both clinical care and the patient experience. We're a small, growing team.
The Role
This is a hybrid position: you'll run the front of the clinic and also provide clinical care. On any given day you might check in a new member, draw labs, start an IV and follow up on a patient's questions. It's a good fit for a nurse who likes variety, takes ownership and wants to grow into specialized practice. Nurses who are passionate about hormones, peptides, fitness and nutrition will feel right at home here.
What You'll Do
Clinical
Draw blood and process labs
Give IM and SubQ injections (hormones, peptides, vitamins) under established protocols
Start, monitor and discontinue IV therapies
Take vitals, prep and turn over rooms, and handle instruments
Document visits accurately in the EHR
Teach patients about their treatment plans, injection technique and aftercare
Manage inventory and supply compliance
Front of House
Greet and check in patients, and keep the patient experience calm and polished
Schedule, confirm and follow up on appointments in our CRM
Answer calls, messages and new-patient inquiries
Process payments and memberships, and explain services clearly
Keep the clinic clean, organized and ready for patients
Growth & Training
Train directly alongside the lead Nurse Practitioner
Get hands-on training in hormone therapy, peptide protocols and aesthetic procedures
Take on more clinical responsibility as your skills grow
Help build a growing practice from the ground up
Requirements
Active Missouri RN license (or compact license)
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
Confident with venipuncture, IV starts and injections
Professional presence and excellent communication skills
Comfortable with computers, scheduling systems and EHRs
Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work independently on a small team
Preferred
Knowledge of, or a real passion for, hormone optimization and peptide therapy
Interest in fitness and nutrition, and in how they support long-term health and performance
Experience in the ED, ICU, urgent care, or aesthetics/wellness
Customer service or front-desk experience
Schedule
Part-time to start (weekdays, some flexibility), with full-time available as the practice grows
No nights or holidays
