RN, MDS COORDINATOR, CCRC MODEL, YOU WILL THINK YOU WON LOTTO!
Truly a dream, a 40 patient ltc unit within a CCRC operation, which is a country club private pay vibe with the amenities and environment, with nothing other than the most amazing support and facilities and nursing team! No Chaos in that situation!
If you enjoy your MDS work and experience and would love to apply it in a unchaotic, soothing environment, where you can apply your private pay (90%) and Medicaid experience, do not pass this up.

Skills
knowledge of PCC a plus;
Understanding of Medicare regulations, private pay within long-term care policies, HEDIS standards, CMS guidelines, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
Proven experience with medical coding including CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding systems; familiarity with DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) classifications is preferred.
Critical care experience such as ICU or Level I/II Trauma Center background enhances ability to manage complex cases effectively.
Demonstrated ability in utilization review and management—ensuring appropriate resource use while optimizing patient outcomes.
Excellent organizational skills coupled with strong communication abilities to coordinate multidisciplinary teams efficiently.
Prior experience in MDS a MUST
long-term care facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable; familiarity with state healthcare regulations is essential.
