Job description
Find your calling at Mercy! Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Qualifications Required EducationGraduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program
Required LicensureCurrent Missouri RN license or Compact RN license meeting Missouri Board of Nursing requirements
Preferred ExperienceMinimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Acute Care, Hospital Nursing, or a related clinical setting
CertificationsBLS (Basic Life Support) required within 30 days of hire
Additional certifications may be required based on department assignment: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and squat throughout scheduled shifts
