About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Medical Progressive Care Unit at Jefferson Hospital provides high-level cardiac monitoring and integrated patient care for individuals with complex medical needs. This role is ideal for nurses who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative team environment.

What You'll Do
Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
Provide feedback regarding clinical practice and role performance.
Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care.
Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
Utilize the nursing process to develop patient care plans.
Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
Participate in professional development and continuous learning.
Requirements
Education
Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required.
Experience
Certification in area of specialty preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
Current RN License in Pennsylvania
CPR certification required
Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required
