About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Medical Progressive Care Unit at Jefferson Hospital provides comprehensive nursing care for patients with complex medical needs, including cardiac monitoring and respiratory support. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse who values teamwork and patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do
Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
Utilize the nursing process to develop patient care plans.
Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
Demonstrate commitment to continuous lifelong learning.
Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and resolve patient/family concerns.
Requirements
Education:
Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required.
Experience:
Preferred certification in area of specialty.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current RN License in Pennsylvania.
CPR certification required.
Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required.
