Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Mother Infant Care unit, focusing on postpartum couplet care, gynecological surgery patients, and low-risk antepartum patients. The role includes performing assessments, IV skills, blood draws, and foley insertion/management/removal. Additionally, the nurse will conduct newborn assessments, blood draws, 24-hour testing, hearing screenings, glucose management, and Eat, Sleep, Console assessments.
Responsibilities
Care for postpartum patients and their infants in a couplet care environment.
Administer IV medications and conduct blood draws.
Manage and perform foley catheter insertions and removals.
Perform newborn assessments and screening tests.
Conduct glucose management and Eat, Sleep, Console assessments for newborns.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mother Infant Nurse.
EPIC experience preferred.
Previous travel experience is a plus.
