Registered Nurse - Postpartum / Newborn Nursery

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Postpartum and Newborn Nursery unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to postpartum and high-risk antepartum patients, ensuring optimal recovery and support for both mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns.
Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
Administer medications and perform procedures such as IV placement as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Active Texas RN License (Temporary license will NOT be accepted).
Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience.
BLS certification.
Experience in caring for high-risk antepartum patients and postpartum recoveries.
Newborn Nursery experience.
Preferred Skills / Advanced Skills Needed
Experience with Advanced FM.
RNC-OB certification is a plus but not required.
Meditech experience is preferred.
