nJob Summary:
nAs the Clinical Research RN, you will collaborate with the principal investigator and research team to perform research-related procedures and coordinate data to ensure research protocols compliance.
nYou will administer medications and execute regimens as authorized by state licensure. You will assist in the preparation of regulatory documents and in budget development and review.
nAdditional accountabilities within the scope of RN license may include:
n• Administration of investigational study drug (Oral, IV push or IV infusion) and performs patient assessments during visits
n• Completion of 12-lead ECG
n• Blood draw and processing
n• Use of nursing clinical judgment to evaluate patients for enrollment
n• Provide patient education and medical information to study patients to ensure understanding of proper medication dosage, administration, and disease treatment
nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
nEducation : Professional Nursing Degree (RN)
nSkills : Must be familiar with computer data entry, electronic medical records,
nand commonly used programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
nLicense : Current state license as Registered Nurse
nCertification : Current BLS certification
nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
nEducation : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
nSkills : As above with advanced skills in Microsoft.
nYears of Experience : 3-4 years of clinical or research experience.
nLicense : Current state license as Registered Nurse
nCertification : Certification through professional research organization
nWORKING CONDITIONS
nPersonal Protective Equipment: As needed.
nPhysical Demands: Must be able to move between hospitals. Must have a valid driver’s license and willing to drive between facilities. Must be able to carry light equipment. Must be able to tolerate standing for extended periods of time.
